Zeytullaev Ruslan Borisovich

Zeytullaev Ruslan Borisovich, born June 15, 1985 in Tashkent, lived in Sevastopol before his arrest. Married, has three daughters. Incomplete secondary education, not officially employed, worked as a builder.

Accused under Part 1 of Article 205.5 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Organising activities of a terrorist organisation") of membership in the organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami, banned in the Russian Federation, which, even according to the investigation, did not participate in violent actions. On April 26, 2017, he was sentenced to 12 years in a strict regime penal colony. On July 27, 2017, his prison term was increased to 15 years in a strict regime penal colony.

He has been in custody since January 23, 2015.
