Zeynalov Parviz Oktay oglu

Zeynalov Parviz Oktay oglu, born April 11, 1973, citizen of the Russian Federation, resident of Moscow, Muslim, follower of theologian Nursi.

On June 27, 2023, he was sentenced under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organisation of the activities of an extremist organisation") to 6 years in a general regime penal colony with restriction of freedom for 1 year after release on charges of involvement in the activities of the Nurjular organisation, recognised as extremist in Russia, due to holding religious gatherings to study the books of Islamic philosopher and theologian Said Nursi.

Deprived of liberty since October 5, 2021.
