Sungatov Ruslan Nikolaevich, born February 4, 1977, resident of Kazan. Ruslan has secondary specialised education, worked as a builder. He is married and has a young child.

Sentenced to 22 years and 1 day in a strict regime colony with restriction of freedom for 2 years after release under Part 1 of Article 205.5 ("Organising activities of a terrorist organisation", liable to up to life imprisonment), Part 1 of Article 205.1 ("Incitement to terrorist activity", liable to up to 15 years' imprisonment), Part 4 of Article 150 ("Involvement of a minor in the commission of a serious crime", liable to up to 8 years' imprisonment) of the Russian Criminal Code, in connection with alleged involvement in Hizb-ut-Tahrir al-islami.

In custody since March 14, 2017.
