Solovyov Sergey Georgievich

Solovyov Sergey Georgievich, born September 5, 1976, resident of Vologda, self-employed in the public utilities sector. On November 14, 2024, he was sentenced under two episodes of Part 1 of Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the RF Armed Forces, committed by a person after he was brought to administrative responsibility for a similar act within one year") to 2 years of imprisonment in a penal colony with a 2-year deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to the public dissemination of information about the RF Armed Forces. On February 5, 2025, the appellate court replaced serving the sentence in a penal colony with 2 years of forced labor. Deprived of liberty since March 2, 2025.
