Shurygin Andrei Pavlovich

Shurygin Andrei Pavlovich, born February 17, 1976, resident of Chelyabinsk, father of two daughters. On May 12, 2025, under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Russian Criminal Code (organization of the activities of an extremist organization) in connection with membership in the community of Jehovah's Witnesses banned in Russia, he was sentenced to 5.5 years in a general regime colony and taken into custody. Before the verdict, he was under a written undertaking not to leave.
