Shmidt Igor Yakovlevich, born June 18, 1972, lived in Sevastopol, individual entrepreneur.

Under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Organisation of the activities of a religious organisation, in respect of which a decision has been made to liquidate due to the implementation of extremist activities) in connection with membership in the community of Jehovah's Witnesses banned in Russia, he was sentenced to 6 years in a general regime penal colony. He was in custody from October 1, 2020 to March 23, 2021, when he was released under house arrest.

On October 22, 2021, he was taken into custody again.
