Polyudova Darya Vladimirovna

Polyudova Darya Vladimirovna, born February 4, 1989. A resident of Moscow, previously lived in the Krasnodar Territory. Leader of the opposition group "Left Resistance".

In 2015 - 2017, she was a political prisoner, since she was sentenced to 2 years in a penal colony under Part 1 of Art. 280 ("Public calls for extremist activity"), Part 2 of Art. 280 ("Public calls for extremist activity committed using the Internet"), Part 2 of Art. 280.1 ("Public calls for actions aimed at violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation committed using the Internet") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in connection with her participation in the preparation of the "March for the Federalisation of Kuban".

She was charged under Part 1 of Art. 280.1 ("Public calls for actions aimed at violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation", liable to up to 4 years of imprisonment), but the criminal case was dismissed due to partial decriminalisation of the article. On May 31, 2021, she was sentenced to 6 years in a general regime penal colony under Part 1 of Article 280 ("Public calls for extremist activity"), Part 2 of Article 205.2 ("Public justification of terrorism using the Internet") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Finally, under Part 1 of Article 280 ("Public calls for extremist activity"), Part 1 of Article 282.1 ("Creation of an extremist organisation"), Part 2 of Article 205.2 ("Public justification of terrorism using the Internet") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, on December 23, 2022, she was sentenced to 9 years in a general regime penal colony for the combination of punishments.

In custody since January 15, 2020.
