Marchenko Alexandr Vladimirovich

Marchenko Alexandr Vladimirovich, born October 11, 1971 in the city of Pavlograd, Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukrainian SSR. Before his arrest, he was unemployed, had no criminal record, and permanently resided in the city of Dnipro, Ukraine.

He was arrested in Russia on February 18, 2019, on suspicion of committing an administrative offense. On November 26, 2020, he was sentenced to 10 years in a strict regime penal colony on charges of committing a crime under Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Espionage").

He was taken into custody as part of a criminal case on May 1, 2019.
