Liptser Aleksei Evgenyevich

Liptser Aleksei Evgenyevich, born December 12, 1986, lived in Moscow, married, has a young child, worked as a lawyer.

He is charged under Part 2 of Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Participation in an extremist organisation", liable to up to 6 years' imprisonment) in connection with his participation in an allegedly extremist organisation created by Aleksei Navalny, which, according to investigators, consisted of transmitting information from him from the penal colony.

He has been in custody since October 13, 2023.
