Ledkov Valery Konstantinovich

Ledkov Valery Konstantinovich, born June 24, 1965, resident of the city of Khanty-Mansiysk, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, specialist in the folklore of the Ob-Ugric peoples. On July 29, 2025, under Part 1 of Article 282.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Financing of extremist activity", up to 8 years in prison) he was sentenced to a fine of 120,000 rubles. On September 18, 2025, this sentence was commuted to 3 years' imprisonment in a general regime penal colony on appeal. He was under house arrest from December 28, 2024, to July 29, 2025, and taken into custody on September 18, 2025. Ledkov's son, Konstantin, is also deprived of liberty in a politically motivated criminal case.
