Abdurakhmanov Medzhit Anafievich, born February 2, 1975, resident of Simferopol, activist of "Crimean Solidarity", picketer, engaged in sending parcels to political prisoners. He has two children.
On charges of involvement in "Hizb ut-Tahrir" he was sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment, of which 5 years to be served in prison, the rest in a maximum security penal colony, with restriction of freedom for 1 year after the imprisonment under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation"), Part 1 of Article 30 and Article 278 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Preparation for the violent seizure of power").
In custody since March 27, 2019.
